Our most versatile rice, Andy’s Santee Gold Brown Rice is a firm-textured, long-grain, non aromatic rice making it the perfect complement to recipes that call for a simple neutral flavor.  Whole grain with the fibroid bran and nutritions gram intact and with a unique green hue noting the presence of natural chlorophyll, the Santee Gold Brown Rice is firmer and requires a slightly longer cooking time. This rice is nearly identical in taste, cooking and culinary quality as Carolina Gold Brown Rice, just with a longer grain and it is a modern nod to the historic and gold medal winning Carolina Long Gold.  Delicious simply boiled or steamed, the rice is also a secret ingredient for elevating your favorite recipes.
