Andy's Charleston Gold is a firm textured, long-grain, aromatic rice, with a wholesome, nutty flavor.
Our seed is non-GMO and certified by the Texas Rice institute. The earth here is peaty, rich in minerals and nutrients, a wonderful environment for growing Charleston Gold Rice.
Harvested in late summer, our rice is naturally gluten-free and grown in tidal rice fields that are irrigated with river water, not groundwater. We use traditional rotational crop methods as part of our land stewardship program.
After the harvest, the rice is dried, cleaned, and put in cold storage to maximize its freshness. We mill and bag the rice when orders are placed to ensure top-notch flavor and quality. After opening, please refrigerate or freeze for optimal flavor. The rice will last for years in the freezer.

1 cup Andy's Charleston Gold Rice
1.5 cups water or stock
1 tsp salt
1. Put all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil.
2. Stir and cover.
3. Reduce heat to low and cook for 15 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and let sit for an additional 15 minutes. Do not remove the lid during this time.
5. Fluff with a fork and serve.
